StayCyberSafe continues to expand NC reach

This month, our NC Chapter ambassadors led by Sid returned to Charlotte to lead yet another free cybersecurity workshop - Sharon at SouthPark.

Building a chapter isn't just about one workshop. It's about showing up again and again until every senior community has the tools, skills, and confidence to stay safe online.

That's exactly what Sid is doing.

Building North Carolina, One Community at a Time

From Morehead to SouthPark, Sid's work this summer tells a clear story: the NC chapter is growing, deepening its roots in Charlotte, and expanding its reach across the state.

This is what sustainable chapter-building looks like. Not a single high-profile event - but a consistent, community-by-community presence that earns trust over time. Every workshop Sid leads adds another layer of protection to North Carolina's senior population and reinforces StayCyberSafe's commitment to the state.

StayCyberSafe is a youth-led organization providing free, curriculum-based cybersecurity education to seniors.

I have seen the V****** phone carrier in chula vista, CA charge unknown charges to me, my family, and a senior citizen and the customer service reps will make it sound complicating or impossible to explain and remove the prior charges and lie about completely removing them in the future.
