StayCyberSafe goes Global: Our first International Workshop in India

A major milestone for StayCyberSafe!

We’re proud to share that we’ve officially gone international - hosting our first-ever workshop in India focused on empowering seniors with essential cybersecurity skills.

Held in a vibrant community space with seniors eager to learn, this workshop was more than just a session on online safety, it was a cross-cultural connection rooted in mutual respect, curiosity, and shared digital challenges.

From WhatsApp scams to secure online banking and device privacy, the workshop was tailored to meet the unique needs of Indian seniors, many of whom are navigating digital tools for the first time. The session sparked rich discussions, relatable stories, and a deep desire to learn how to protect personal information in an increasingly connected world.

“No one ever taught us this before — I feel more confident now using my phone,” said one participant.

What made this workshop even more meaningful was its ability to cross generational and cultural boundaries. Despite language and lifestyle differences, the message remained the same: everyone deserves the tools to stay safe online.

At StayCyberSafe, we believe that cybersecurity education shouldn’t be limited by geography, age, or access. This workshop marks the beginning of our journey to make digital safety a global conversation, starting with one community at a time.
