StayCyberSafe Hosts First Senior Cybersecurity Workshop in La Jolla

StayCyberSafe recently held its very first senior cybersecurity workshop in La Jolla, where we had the opportunity to guide seniors through essential tools and strategies to stay safe online. From learning how to recognize phishing emails to understanding privacy settings, the participants were fully engaged and eager to strengthen their digital confidence.

The energy in the room was inspiring—attendees asked thoughtful questions, shared personal experiences, and left with practical skills they could immediately apply. The overwhelming positive feedback reminded us just how important it is to make technology safe and accessible for everyone.

Leading this workshop as part of the Eagle Project was especially rewarding. Seeing the impact firsthand—seniors walking away more empowered and less intimidated by the digital world—made the experience both meaningful and memorable.
