As technology becomes part of everyday life, cybercrime is rising too. At StayCyberSafe, we empower seniors with practical, engaging cybersecurity education grounded in design thinking. With creativity, collaboration, and empathy, anyone can confidently stay safe online.

In 2024, seniors over 50 lost $4.8 billion to cybercrime—a 43% jump in just one year.
Increasingly Targeted
Cybercriminals target seniors for their trust, limited digital skills, and financial assets.

Empathize and Research
We listen to seniors’ real-life challenges with technology—
like confusing emails, password fatigue, or privacy concerns.
Ideate
Together, we brainstorm creative ways to stay safe: memory
tools for passwords, checklists for suspicious links, or apps
seniors actually enjoy using.
Prototype
Participants help design their own cybersecurity tools—like
custom guides, safety checklists, or alert cards—with simple
materials or apps like Canva.
Test
We role-play real scenarios and test our solutions together—
learning what works and how to improve.
